Beth Rekow

Beth Rekow -  Her artwork focus's on the challenge of process, the beat of change and also the importance of the thought and assumption within the visual landscape. She wants to be able to attract the viewers attention and allow them to be able to see the beauty that she has made just by recycling and rue produces that people seem to often think are useless. She really focus's on interior design also.

Skin -  This installation is a piece with renewal, recycling and reuse of just ordinary materials. She reuse plastic, glass and lights. The plastic bags are woven into webbing wrapped like spider webs around the exterior of the building.  The neurons are made from the woven plastic, and solar light are fused together to produce the trees of glass. This is really the only installation piece that she has done. But, below are other example of building that she designed.

Conclusion -  I real love the concepts behind Beth's work. It is very interesting that she comes from a background in architecture. I am impressed with the passion she has for her work and the ability that she has to fully explain for process and work clearly.
